Photography

In need of photographs for an event or special occasion, headshots or product photography. With a Bachelor of Arts in Photography from RMIT University, by MHJ has experience in both studio light and natural light photography and will try to accommodate your needs.

Enjoying family, fashion and landscape photography, working with natural lighting to capture something beautiful and having fun with studio lighting to create something fun.

Happy to chat over email or organise a time to catch up and discuss how we achieve the ideal photographs. Please be mindful when booking regarding scale of need - One woman team with an occasional assistant.

Welcome to Country

Would you like a Traditional Owner to perform a Welcome to Country on Gunaikurnai Country . . .

That connects to the event or occasion and gives a warm sense of belonging in the speech. Having studied her Grandparent’s language there is the ability to speak in the Gunaikurnai language within the Welcome and offer the experience of hearing tens of thousands of years of tradition being shared within the community.

Master of Ceremonies - MC’ing

After someone who is connected within Gippsland to be the MC of your upcoming event. By MHJ is here to carry the occasion, ensuring fact checking and following the script. This is something new that has been popping up as an opportunity within community and school events.

If you are willing to give by MHJ a chance happy to chat over email or organise a time to catch up and discuss what will be involved, any additional quips or flair to be added.

This service has only been practiced within the last few years, be gentle and understandable if you choose to go with someone else.

Cultural Workshops

Looking at learning about the beautiful Gunaikurnai Country from a Traditional Owner, who grew up in Gippsland. Gain an understanding about topics that can include Indigenous History, Culture, Plants, Protocol, Acknowledgements, Welcomes and more. *

Jewellery Making / Crafting Workshops

Always having a love for being crafty with her hands and grew up happily spending her day in Spotlight. Hollie has skilled herself up in jewellery making with beads, wood, resin, raffia and recently gaining some of an understanding of silver and gold smithing. When it comes to crafting, we have you covered, let us know what you would like to look into, and we’ll see what we can do. *

Language Workshops

Being fortunate to learn her Grandparents language from her Aunties, Hollie has knowledge in the Gunaikurnai language. Exploring the history and variations in the language, we will look at Aboriginal English and how some words have different meanings and spellings all the while making it a fun experience that you will remember. *
